RESAM SERVICE POLICY
Warranty
Policy – Rich Electric Sales AMerica (RESAM) warrants that our drives (8001,
Super-N, and Mini Series) be free from defects in material and workmanship for two
years from date of manufacture. This
warranty is conditioned upon proper storage, installation, use and maintenance.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by natural forces such as
lightning, nor does it cover damage caused by failure of other materials such as
(but not limited to) motors and wires. RESAM
reserves the right to determine the cause of all failures.
To remedy a warranty condition, RESAM will do one of the following at its own option: 1) Repair any defective or damaged parts at RESAM’s shop located in Houston, Texas. 2) Make available F.O.B. Houston any necessary repair or replacement parts. As part of the warranty agreement, all defective components or parts are to be returned to RESAM, 3916 1/2 Anderson Rd., Houston, Texas 77053. Failure to return defective components within 30 days of shipment of replacement components will result in an invoice for the replacement components.
Service
Policy
- Drives
that are out of warranty may be sent to any authorized service center or
repaired by ordering replacement parts through RESAM or through an Authorized
Repair Center. Any service company wishing to become an authorized repair center
for the Eric Drives may contact us for an
interview pursuant to becoming an Authorized Repair Center.
Freight costs are not covered by the warranty and will be invoiced at cost.
